Description
The Yamaha 6CE-44352-00-00 is a genuine OEM water pump impeller for Yamaha V6 4.2L 225 to 300 HP four-stroke outboards.
Why it matters
The raw water impeller is the most common cause of an overheating alarm on a marine diesel, and it is a wear part by design.
Fitting
Replace the impeller on schedule, at least every two seasons, and never run the outboard dry. A cooked impeller sheds blades into the powerhead cooling passages.
