Yanmar 119773-42640 Impeller Kit (Genuine OEM)

Description

The Yanmar 119773-42640 is a genuine OEM raw water pump impeller kit for Yanmar 6LP and 6LPA series marine diesel engines.

Why it matters

The raw water impeller is the most common cause of an overheating alarm on a marine diesel, and it is a wear part by design. Replace it on schedule rather than running it to destruction.

Supersession

This part replaces the earlier 119773-42600. If your manual or a previous invoice lists that, this is the current replacement.

In the kit

Supplied as a kit containing: Impeller, O-ring, cover plate screws. Fit the new seals supplied rather than reusing the old ones.

Fitting

Never run the engine with the seacock shut. May require gasket 119787-42570 depending on your pump.
