Description
The Yanmar 119574-42530 is a genuine OEM raw water pump impeller kit for Yanmar 6LYA, 6LY2, 6LY2A and 6LY3 series marine diesel engines.
Why it matters
The raw water impeller is the most common cause of an overheating alarm on a marine diesel, and it is a wear part by design. Replace it on schedule rather than running it to destruction.
In the kit
Supplied as a kit containing: Impeller, O-ring, face plate screws, lubricant. Fit the new seals supplied rather than reusing the old ones.
Fitting
Never run the engine with the seacock shut.
