Description

The Sierra 18-8870 is a marine aftermarket oil filter cartridge that crosses to the small Suzuki four-stroke filter.

Why it matters

Engine oil picks up combustion soot and fine metal wear particles, and the oil filter is what keeps them out of the bearings, journals and turbocharger. Fitting the correct filter means the bypass valve opens at the pressure the engine was designed for.
